Changes in management of TES Vsetín s.r.o.

TES Vsetín s.r.o. (in the following TES), a leading European manufacturer of tailor-made power electric motors, generators, machines, and system components, including industrial automation solutions, today announced the election of Dr. Manfred Lerch as Chief Executive Officer to lead the general management and day-to-day operations of the company.

Michael Hengstmann, who has served TES as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer from April 2016 on, will continue to support TES and has been appointed as a Member of the TES Advisory Board. Furthermore Tomas Pavlica has been appointed as Director Sales and Project Management. All new roles are with effect from 1. January 2018.

Prior to joining TES, Manfred Lerch held roles as Chief Executive Officer in family owned companies and corporate groups in the field of machine and plant construction, technical infrastructure, telecommunications and security technology, including MTU Diesel Engines, Voith Turbo and Balfour Beatty Rail. His professional experience covers the entire value chain of industrial companies, innovation in product portfolios as well as entering new markets and business relations with customers worldwide. In his different responsibilities he focused among others on operational excellence management and lean production projects. He holds a Master degree in Aeronautical Science and a PhD of the University of the German Armed Forces in Munich.

Tomas Pavlica has a longstanding experience within TES as he joined the company already in 2004, starting as Area Sales Manager and moving on into the position as Sales Manager in Electric Machines Division. His most recent responsibility was Head of Project Management. Prior to joining TES, he worked as Sales Manager in Rubber Industry. He holds a Master degree in Economics from VSB-TU University of Ostrava and Nottingham Trent University.

For 2017, TES is looking back on one of the most successful years in the company’s history regarding profitable growth. In addition, the company was successful in winning new projects and customers and expects to further accelerate growth in 2018.
